I've been looking thru my stuff and the only mod I have is for MARS/CAP Tx.
Will re-read that one and see if it can be reversed.

I'd like to find the -supposed- 6m mod for this radio that gets it up on the
SSB area of 6m. (50.00 to 51.100 )
Seen a few hints as to this mod existing, but haven't found one yet that
looks like it would work on the first version of this radio.
Difference is the old 2950 was capable of going from 26.0 to 31.999 and used
a lithium battery for the memory battery backup, while the new one quits at
30.99 and uses a capacitor-type cell for a memory backup battery.
Not sure if this 6m mod was for the old or new 2950 series of chassis.
PW> One thing I always try to get for anything I own is the oem
PW> service manual, or a good copy. (hehehe.. I've even got the one
PW> for the tv.) ;>
I have the shop manuals for nearly every rig I own.
Invaluable reference if you want to check a new mod out or service bulletin
to
see how or if it works.
