Your answers:
1) I'm not sure on that, to be honest.
2) Yes, they are passed directly to a batch file like:
   %1 %2 %3 (so on)
   Meaning, if I do:
   test ~CN ~CP
   I can use them in the batch file as:
   blah %1 %2
3) That's not an issue under OS/2.
