Yup... that's where I'm typin' this post into. COCO 3 with 1 meg ram,
63B09ep micro (lets the coco go faster) with Nitro-OS9 windowing system.

On the one in the radio room I have a Kam hooked to a scanner (no ham
license) on a COCO 3 with a double RS-232 one goes to it the other to a
modem. The software again is OS9 operating system with OSTERM (latest
version for internet surfing) for the fone modem. the second port
running SUPERCOMM for the KAM.
The other computer just RSDOS either runs an RTTY or FAX program
conected to a Shortwave radio threw the A/D cassette port. It's a COCO 3
also.

Hmmm.... Which Rainbow? I have several COCO 2's in storage that I'd
done different mods to from the rainbow & the full turn of the screw.
They do make good controlers with a small interface and some basic
programing. Gotta beable to build things tho!

Let me know what yer looking for in radio software for the COCO if I
have it and it's public domain yer welcome to it. (there is alot!)
May I also make a suggestion because this is a scanner based echo, and
we've only touched on scanning in the posts. There is a COCO echo and
alot of folks with software and hardware. You may want to ask yer Sysop
to pick it up. there are other COCO based echoes (OS9, COCO, RIBBS)
You may want to check into them. I carry all 3 here.
