It had Something to do with "Favorite Legionnaire".
DH> Hi, Tamara.

DH> pathos and fun... all rolled into one. I know a few old-guard

TH> Well, I consider myself an old Legion fan (since the Mike Grell

Hmmmm. I won't get into this. You know hwo I feel about Mike Grell....(g)
DH> From there, I actually started reading the occasional issue of
DH> "Superboy & The Legion Of Super-heroes" (the first one I remember was
DH> the one where Ultra Boy was framed for murder... somewhere in the 230s
That one was an EXCELLENT story, drawn by Starlin, featuring Chameleon Boy
as the chief investigator and detective in the case! A landmark issue of
that rag under Levitz, i think.
DH> I've got a lot of favorite Legion storylines... The Great
DH> Darkness Saga, the destruction of Earth story, the ongoing
DH> developments with Magno (you just can't help but feel sorry for the
DH> guy...), the Violet-imposter story, the various Matter-Eater Lad
Some GREAT Keith giffen stories from before he went cartoonish!
DH> Legion/Fatal Five Vs. the Sun-Eater storyline, the original Computo
DH> story (and the one which appeared in the 1st Legion Annual... which
DH> saw Computo possess Invisible Kid II's sister). Actually, there are
DH> really too many to mention here...
Whoops! Got to correct you there! The ORIGINAL "Computo" story was WAAAAAAY
back in Superboy number something or other...in the SIXTIES, when, as drawn
by Curt Swan, I think, the machine, built by Brainiac 5, devoured one of
Triplicate Girl's three dupes. The Keith Giffen sequel was actually MUCH
better, but by no means the original one....it was the SECOND one.
