I believe one file operated from the command line and the other was loaded
via the CONFIG.SYS file. While the function they performed may be similar,
the two files were not identical!

Considering the vintage of the programs, I guess that's all the programmers
ever envisioned would be required.

The only time I ever used a keyboard driver was when my computer BIOS did not
support the enhanced keyboard -- I've since upgraded the computer and have no
requirement for a keyboard driver.
I thought that under fairly ordinary circumstances, the files that I posted
would be sufficient and I had no prior knowledge that the files would have to
be functional with your specialized keyboard driver.
You may have to create a customized program for your keyboard driver...
