Sounds really nice! Most beautiful place I rode this year was at
Acadia National Park. Its an Island off the coast of Maine. Actually
the first settlers called it Mt Desert Island because it is a small
island with Cadilac Mountain in the middle. It is all rock on top and
deserted of trees hence the name. In the 1800s the land was donated to
the government for a national park. It has over 50 Miles of "Carrage
Roads". A stipulation was made that no motor vehicles would ever travel
these roads. So now these are the BEST bicycle trails/roads you can
imagine. Wildlife of all kinds, and some very majestic views.
Some spectalular sea cliffs and great hikeing trails.
I try to spend a week there ever year.
