The guy sounds rather self-centered. No real Christian would pray for God
to destroy those he (the Christian) has trouble with. That isn't how Christ
taught us to pray. In the Lord's Prayer is the language Christ taught.
Notice the word "forgive" below.

 "And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that
trespass against us."
