The March 26 post to comp.os.os2.announce, "NEW OS/2 DEVELOPMENT
PACKAGE: IBM's VisualAge C++" erred in stating that customers
purchasing any C Set++ Version 2.1 after March 21st should be entitled to a
no charge upgrade to VisualAge C++ Version 3.0.  It was not intended that
the pre-WARP products, 82G3732 and 82G3736, be sold after that date, and
the post was meant to apply only to WARP enabled C Set++, part numbers
30H1758 and 30H1759.

However, because the pre-WARP C Set++ Version 2.1 continued to be sold
after March 21st, to purchasers who believed they would receive a no charge
upgrade, such customers will be sent the promised upgrade provided they
submit a proof of purchase dated after March 21 and before July 15,1995.

If you purchased C Set++ Version 2.1, part number 82G3732 or 82G3736
between March 21 and July 15, 1995, and would like a no charge upgrade to
VisualAge C++ Version 3.0, you should fax a copy of your invoice to Maxine
Houghton at (416)448-4414.  Please allow 4 - 6 weeks for delivery.  If you
do not receive your upgrade or if you have any other questions about it,
you should e-mail va_cpp{at}vnet.ibm.com.
