That was about the time I started my BBS -- a 286 clone, motherboard packed
with electronic components, 2 32 MB MFM drives. They'd need seasonal
reformatting, and the BBS would toss a message a second. Maintenance took
all early morning long -- when it didn't crash because the disk filled up!
