What condition are the tubes?  Could that be part of the low output?

BTW, how big a footprint does it have?  I need to know how how much desk
space to clear out for it... or is it a floor model?   :->
 
Now I gotta arrange a TX antenna and probably a tuner, but since you
can receive on "any old piece of coat hanger," a proper antenna can wait
a bit.   :->
 
BTW, took the General - Got a CSCE for the written, GOTTA work on CW!
Having the Dentron will make that a LOT easier!
 
Now all I have to do is find a good 2M mobile for the shack, like a
Yaesu FT-2500M, (my 2M "dream machine" - I KNOW I'll never afford a
FT-8100 dual-bander), and a heavier 12V charger than the 1 Amp one I'm
using now to charge the battery, and I'll be all set for a while.   ;-}
 
BTW, did you get the msg I sent you abt the HT charger?
