I agree with Steven, this applies to all participants, come in the winter
and have a good adventure.

I will agree that there is a difference in "feel" with
temperatures, we have a dry cold here, if it was 32F here that is easy to
handle, on the coastal area, like Prince Rupert it would be brutal, because
of the Pacific Ocean.

I get by with a medium weight jacket most of the winter, when it gets a tad
colder I put on my down filled coat and only if it is colder than -25C.

Give it a try a winter vacation in the North. You may just love it.
