  Whether it generates a SYS3175 or not is not the ultimate test, since
  the underlying problem is corruption of the C++ runtime heap due to an
  OBOE.  Some C++ heap management schemes are more prone to generate
  SYS3175 in the event of a corrupted heap than others.
