KN> bit higher quality, alas. The only LP version of this I ever saw was
KN> the Columbia one.
The LP version I have is ABC. If I recall correctly, the first album
came out on ABC, the single ("Julia") and the second album were on
Columbia. I know there was a label shift early on, and I seem to
remember thinking of it as one of the changes associated with the second
album. But, that was 20+ years ago, it may have been just the single
that was a different label.
I'd know for sure if I'd hung on to my original LP's. I had the promo we
received at the radio station, as well as a copy of the second album
that I bought upon release. Unfortunately, I wore out that copy of
_Pampered Menial_ and never was all that enthused about _At The Sound of
The Bell_, so they fell victim to one of my wife's yard sale
contributions back in the early 80's. I reacquired the first at a used
vinyl store in the late 80's (either in Georgetown, DC or Orlando area)
and later found a double CD containing both. And, as of 3 years ago,
I've also acquired a third CD, that I didn't previously know existed,
called _Lost In America_ (found in St. Louis, in a place I was told was
frequented by David Surkamp himself).
