-=> Quoting Ernest Hintz to All <=- EH> We are new to OS/2 platform, and would appreciate EH> some assistance.... EH> In the use of a DOS window, running a number of programs EH> when the program concludes, though it maybe called via batch file EH> or not, the DOS window closes... EH> This is not what we want, we would like this window to EH> stay open... EH> Anyone any suggestions, they would greatly appreciated. Well, thats an easy one! Click with your 2nd mouse button on your ICON for a particular DOS app that you want the window to stay open after completion. That will bring up a selection for that icon. Click on SETTINGS. Go to the SESSION tab of the settings notebook. There you will notice a "Close window on exit" statement with a check mark in the box. Click on the check mark with your 1st mouse button. That will remove the check mark. Now close your settings notebook with a double click in the upper left corner. Your DOS Window will now stay open after you have exited the program. You can close that Window by double clicking in the upper left corner. Regards, Stu Davis ...
