 Go to the shop ahead of time. Discuss your needs, have them get the
measurements they need, make an appointment, STAY with the car. Under two
hours and you should be out the door with a fresh recored rad.
Alternately, get a junked one from the auto wreckers that has good tanks
(measure your own, the core does not need to be the same as yours) measure
you tank to tank dimension and drop that off at the rad shop for a recoring.
