Hey Bill:

BC> Yo! Michael:
BC> WinRadio is very well shielded, as a matter of fact. The actual radio
BC> section look a lot like a shielded compartment inside a base scanner.
BC> Except it's heavy. Very heavy. Like a tank.
With that much shielding, does it still 'fit' into a single slot in
the computer? Or is it one of these that plugs into a single slot,
but 'hangs out' so far that it blocks another one?
BC> But I hadn't connected the antenna yet! My
BC> other radios never detect WWV without the antenna connected.
BC> Of course, I always keep the case off that computer, so perhaps some
BC> signal got into the back side of the BNC connector. The
As a matter of idle curiosity, it would be interesting to put the case
on and see what happens with no antenna .
BC> Right off, I don't see a computer noise problem. And that was once my
BC> main concern.
Sounds interesting so far, Bill...and *I* look forward to your 'full
report'. It's starting to look better than one would expect,
considering the working environment
