Fortunately you are wrong about that (at least for version 1.00).
In fact I'm not sure if there is anything crippled on it before
registering, seems fully functional. Although there is a delay at
startup with a nag screen.

After a while he will very likely find some of the other features
useful. I have used it to convert MS-Windows formats to OS/2
formats and vice versa. I even used it to make an OS2LOGO. And if
I recall correctly it is being bundled with some digital camera
package. About the only thing it does not do is take the place of
MS-Windows PaintBrush pixel editing. Actually I'm referring to the
old version, since I never did upgrade. Maybe the new version does
even more. Of all the similar ShareWare I've tried PMView is the
best.
