according to the awea  , american wind energy association,
the cost of wind derives kilowatts is around $0.06 if the 
machine and its maintenance costs are amoritized over a
thirty year period.  they are in the business of promoting
wind energy even if they are nonprofit by charter.
i think there is a lot of disinformation floating around
much of it disseminated by the coal and gas producers.
