Point well taken, Ray. However, if you have ever been on Lake
Conroe, you would have noticed that it's all shoreline! There are
stumps and grasses even in the middle of that lake.
The original river bed (Trinity River channel) goes thru the
middle of lake Livingston, well off of shore. So if one is fishing
the channel, they are practically in the middle of that lake.
Btw Ray, did you know there are no natural lakes in Texas? All
Texas lakes are man-made.
