Hello Bo. 03 Jul 03 12:13, you wrote to me: BS>>> Oh yes i see, but i like i can monitor what there is BS>>> send/recieved from the modem.. On MBSE BBS, I would monitor "system.log" if I wanted to see what was happening, as it happened. Well, the person who implements it, could become the new mantainer of the program, possible? Yes, that I understand, but not only just with mgetty, but gett_ps as well, the other Fido aware getty, but for that matter any other getty. But from my point of view, using either mgetty, (prefered) or getty_ps, are by far the prefered way to handle the modem answering andhanding of to the BBS on Linux/FreeBSD platforms, tho I do accept, that in the case of Maximus, it might not be the most practicle way of handling these functions. :-( Russell --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.4.7* Origin: Rusty's BBS - Bloemfontein, Free State, South Africa (5:7105/1) SEEN-BY: 206/0 633/267 270 @PATH: 7105/1 7106/22 7102/1 140/1 106/2000 633/267 |
