One method you could check, although someone can always alter it in the
config.sys, is check the drive letter for the following environment variables:

USER_INI and SYSTEM_INI

They should be, where X: is the boot drive:

USER_INI=X:\Os2\Os2.Ini
SYSTEM_INI=X:\Os2\Os2Sys.Ini

So, what's wrong with that solution, if it works?  (I don't know enough about
Rexx in order to be able to understand what that statement does...I'm just
trying to learn, as my fort‚ is C, but I would like to learn more about Rexx,
so that I can integrate it into my C packages).
