Seriously, without truly understanding human emotions and needs, how could a
robot, no matter how sophisticated, ever take the place of a real human being,
particularly someone like a nurse?

I am also reminded of Robert Picardo's character, the holographic doctor in
Star Trek Voyager. He's very comical, just as he tended to be in Stargate
Atlantis.

But anyway, my point is that there is no replacement for a human touch to
things.
