Watcom has a publically stated policy of *not* including new language
features from the committee drafts of the ISO C++ Standard in its C++
compiler. IBM has said things to the same effect about Visual Age C++.

It's Borland and MetaWare who have attempted to implement many of the
new features in the drafts, such as RTTI, in their C++ compilers.

Of course, the consequence of that is that (for example) Borland C++
1.0, 1.5, and 2.0 are all subtly incompatible, and it is quite
difficult to write C++ code that works on all three compilers.
