I have a 70's Ghia (2110cc) that will run with the V8 late models on a dirt
oval. I'm still looking for the right street machine to dump that engine
and close ratio box into. I also have a Berg 5 speed conversion (4 low and
close and one for cruising) hooked to a Buick V6 waiting in the wings for
the right set of wheels (or offer ). Since retiring from the VW garage
business, I just don't have the facilities or coins to build the rest of a
rig. When I sell my hobby store watch out. Nothing like an old man in
a VW to surprise them young whipper snappers .
