Hello mark. 09 Jan 05 16:52, you wrote to me: RW>>>> car. I remember it well. A waste of a perfectly good RW>>>> piece of machinery. Too many classics being crushed. ml> the most facinating thing i find about it is towing a car on a 1/4 ml> mile long cable... good grief... those guys had'em, that's for ml> sure... I found that fascinating too. Reminds me of a water show I saw as a kid. Guy gets pulled through a pond by a pickup towing him...looks like he's a superman. ml> in retrospect, i don't remember many good car stunts like ml> they did in those days being done any more these days... Better take a look at the latest movie; Gone In 60 Seconds, with Nick Cage. I wonder how many Mudstains they destroyed before they finished that movie. Cage drives (supposedly he did his own stunt driving) a Shelby Mustang (look-alike) onto a car carrier and jumps 4 or 5 cars and an ambulance. All of this on a bridge in New York. --- Twit(t)-Filter Tossed v2.3 (2000)* Origin: Flying \A/ Ranch, Santa Ysabel, CA (1:10/22) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 5030/786 @PATH: 10/22 379/1 106/2000 633/267 |
