| subject: | Watcom vs Visual Age C++ |
Hello I'm just learning to program in C++ (I know basic, C), and I was wondering which compiler is the best for OS/2 programing.( and now you will say "but best is different for everyone"). I currently have the EMX compiler, but i don't like it. I have a 486 DX4-100 16Mb Ram. I was considering either Watcom 10.5 or Visual Age (latest version). I need to know: - What is the latest version of Visual Age - What is the memory requirements for Watcom and VA I need to also know which compiler YOU prefer(if you use either of them, or another one). I am probably going to do PM programing. If i got watcom I may do other platform work but it is not of high priority. thank you Brendan ...
