I'm not happy he isn't overturning nte Military Commissions act
of 2006, however the alternative is also totally unacceptable.
Many of the Guantamino detainees ( some say 50 percent) as well
many others kept elsewhere are innocent.
Many simply picked by the Norther alliance ( tribal war lords)
to sell to Americans for profit.
Subjected to the torture they were it's unremarkable many
pled guilty to stuff the never did.
Anything they said under previously existing law would have to be
thrown out as inadmissable.
IOW's Obama if he kept promise of eliminating the Military commissions Act
of 2006 would have to by law free them all because of the coersion
and hearsay evidence used against them.
Now had Bush operated under existing U.S. and international law and not
made his own up as he went along Guantamino would no longer exist
as its detainess would either been freed if innocent or convicted
if found guilty.
So now we're with two bad alternatives neither of which is satisfactory

Obviously.
Did a damned lousy job of it under Bush but until 06 it was R
majority.

Oh yeah, I oppose that.
Bush cost us more though.
Bush's stupid missle defense system which and and all legitimate
experts say is completely unworkable and even if it did under
ideal conditions, like U.S. test where there was a homing beacon
on the target missle there are six countermeasures all easily
within the grasp of all countries capable of making and launching ICBMs
There's hundreds and hundreds of billions in waste right there.

No, he has not.
WC> With great good luck and 20 years that just may be accomplished.
EH> We have a VP who claims we need to spend money or go bankrupt.
EH> Obama and his loose cannon of a VP will be the ruin of this country.
George W. Bush was the ruin of this country and I'm confident
history will bear me out, along with: Richard Pearle, Donald Rumsfeld,
Richard Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz and Douglass Feith.
G.W. Bush is the only non-member of PNAC which brought us the Iraq ware.
Jeb Bush however s a member.
