one of my boxes has
/usr/i486-linux-libc5
/usr/i586-glibc20-linux
/usr/i486-linux-libc5/lib/libc.so.5 -> libc.so.5.3.12
/usr/i586-glibc20-linux/lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.0.7.so
it appears that i have libc shared objects from two those two different
libraries so i would have to say "yes", i think...
