-=> Quoting David Martorana to Clarence Hogan <=-
++> Inspired by a complex of exchanges over time between
++> David Martorana and Clarence Hogan.......
DM>> It may not be so much that we derived FROM the apes
DM>> .......but that we are headed in that direction
CH> David, I do believe that you have finally got it and believe
CH> it or not I had confidence that a man of your means would
CH> finally do just that,
DM> What means ??? and ........not that simple !!!
It means going back to the basics and with your education and
acquired wisdom, you have apparently discovered that things are
not as complicated as they seem at first blush, for were not
mountains started from mole hills and have we not made our own
mountains out of mole hills, and are we not killing ourselves by
doing so and would we not be wiser and happier to return to the
simple ways of life and have time to enjoy once again the free
things of the world and allow our bodies to slow back down to
the pace that they were made to operate more efficiently at?
DM>> I think some of my upsent postings were lost between
DM>> 17-20 December- so I've repeated them.
CH> Was it absolutely necessary? :)
DM> More than perhaps not!
Absolutely, for would the world truly have ended had they not
been sent? :)
CH> Maybe they would have been better off "Lost in space!"...
CH> Danger, Danger, Danger Will Robinson!
DM> Most likely would get a laugh in space if "someone"
DM> is listening. They would have to have one "HELL" of
DM> a sense of humor !!!
Then again, someone in space might be heard to say that there is
intelligent life down there after all! :) A healthy sense of
humor doesn't hurt anyone, does it?
DM> In among my many confusions of quest, I entertain an
DM> irony of selected humorous moments. Some are innocent
DM> and simple, others self honed in perky jade and (self
DM> perceived) clever probes. Trying to restrain my eclectic
DM> mindswings takes some effort (as you've probably noticed .
DM> Part of me is a "kindly old fart" but there are some still
DM> crocodilian chills that help me (hopefully) think a bit more
DM> clearly. I'm not always sure **WHOMmmmmmmmmmmmmm** of me is
DM> posting.
What's wrong with multiple personalities? Does not that make
one a well rounded person (and not just fat)? :) I would hope
that the saying of "All work and no play, makes Jack a dull
boy!" would have as much meaning to you as it does to me!
DM> By nature I would be a "so called" artist, by vocation I
DM> WAS mostl;y (in the heyday of dinosaur main frames), a
DM> diagnostic programmer. In that type of programming you must
DM> trick a sinful computer system into telling its most private
DM> ooops! ...scheme kindly to trap its logic errors however
DM> rare they manifest .....coax it into whispering its most
DM> embarrassing defects. Does bend the mind a bit! I learned
DM> from it, a little of the art of distrust and a mite of the
DM> humor in design ....that a computer COULD do so much more
DM> wrong, so cleverly, than it could do right. Of course
DM> computers became super reliable, and now I'm just a retired
DM> ol' grandfarther!
So what, I started with the old card punch system, if you
remember that one! Sure computers could do so much more wrong
than right, but it was not due to the computer's fault, now was
it? And yup, so aren't you much happier now? Do you not have a
much better balance of work and play now that you are the master
of your own destiny?
Nice talkin with you again my friend!
Just another humble servant of The Kingdom.......clarence.......
... Friendship: People who know all about you but like you anyway!
