Sounds nice. However, I think if I were going to spend that much on
a sub, I'd go ahead and get a pair of the mini-towers from Kinergetics
Research. A Sunfire amp would power them *and* my AL-III's with no problems
whatsoever. :)

Sounds nice too, but in that price range I'd go with the Sunfire.
It's just too impressive for anything near its price range technologically
and most people I've talked too think it sounds as good as it measures. I'm
going to find out where the neareast dealer is and listen to that and the
Sunfire Sub, if it's not too far away. Certainly, by the time I'm ready to
buy (if I decide to that is), I would make a long trip, if neccessary to
audition both. I figure Bob Carver's stuff would probably tested on his own
speakers and so would probably match them very well. Certainly, Legacy's
subs should match their Foci very well.
Let me know how the new sub works out when you get it! :)
