That code is actually very broken.
- The protocol functions are kludged to use an external driver. The
internal ones are broken.
- Nexus uses a numerical numbering system for its doors (you call the doors
by a number system). If you remove a door, the system does not
automatically renumber itself, therefore you have to redo ALL of the door
menus to reflect a single change.
- There are problems with the Squish handling in Nexus.
I used to be a Nexus beta tester. There's about 20 bugs that I know of-I
have a list somewhere in my archives.
I tried and tried to get George to get me a tarball of the actual source
code tree, but he never answered, so I gave up.
I'll stick to Telegard. It has its problems, but it works quite well and
is the most stable BBS software I've run.
