Likewise. We have a "child" in the area that just LOVES to jam contacts
on both 2M and 440. If he decides to jam a QSO, moving to another
frequency/repeater does no good... he will follow it from one frequency
to the next, whether it's a local machine or in the next county. He even
went so far as to use his crossband repeat mode to lock up two linked
machines the other day. Yesterday I happened to catch someone, (possibly
the same person?), trying to jam one of the out of town machines by
throwing a carrier on the output frequency. It wasn't bothering the QSO
in progress one bit. After several minutes of this, I keyed up on the
output frequency and said, "You aren't bothering them one bit, you're
just showing your own stupidity. This is KB9QPM, and you don't have the
GONADS to say YOUR call!" The jamming stopped INSTANTLY!!! I would like
to give your "Find the Jammer" file to our head jammer-hunter. Our jammer
takes particular pleasure in going after one Ham in particular, but anyone
is likely to become a target. We've GOT to put a stop to this jerk ASAP!

There are 2-3 operational doppler DFs in the local area and a few "Handy
Finders," plus several other Hams capable of finding a fox anywhere in the
county within half an hour, (witness the last foxhunt when all 3 teams
found the fox within 25 minutes from about 10 miles away).

Good idea. We have at least a couple of Hams who use APRS, and a lot of
packet stations.

If you can narrow it down to a page, then it shouldn't take much more
than moving the DFs into that area to get within a few hundred feet, and
you can use "walking DFs" from there to get to their front door.

That sounds like a very good idea. I know of one machine in the area
that already has a similar set-up.

I shall wait for it like the cat who ate the cheese, then waited by the

PLEASE DO!!!
