The above radios work on the frequencies indicated above, 157-174
Mhz.  That is above 2 Meters. Of course, if you have the know-how
and the replacement parts, you can modify the above radios to work
on 2 Meters, but it takes just that - know-how and parts!!  This Fidonet
newsgroup, as is indicated on my local BBS, is called "Radio Equipment
