I called them. It's an upgrade price for CD-ROM sans paper dox.

From what I've read in the postings here, the price of the VA C++ is
the LEAST of one's financial troubles. There's the need for many of us
to upgrade hard drive, RAM, and maybe CPU. Not cheap. Of course, that
provides a killer machine for other pursuits, but the first thing killed
is your wallet.

Is there any hope that the Smalltalk folk will somewhat reduce the
needs of their side of the product?
