It may have started as a casual comment based on his poor memory.  Most
people would have corrected themselves as soon as they realized they were
wrong.  But Bobzo always has to compound his mistakes by adding blind
stubbornness and raw mendacity.  He is sticking with it, no matter what.

And his understanding of the matter seems to come from watching "Animal
House" years ago and believing that they "have to" take a
"legacy."  Even
if George HW Bush had graduated from Harvard, and even if George W Bush
then tried to get into Harvard as a "legacy," it would still have been an
achievement to get in since a majority of such "legacies" DID NOT get in.

But it was pretty funny to see him say that Bush was a gentleman and that
Ted Kennedy was not.  One more thing that he refuses to retract.
