 RD> appreciated.
   I have a book by L. John Ribar with disk containing programs and a
rippled
Watcom compiler (I think it makes exe files but of limited size) but It's
nly
for teaching C programming. It's called C Disktutor. I mention it because
n
all probability this same author has a similar book on the market covering
++
as well.
   Unless you buy a VERY advanced book I'm not certain it matters a lot which
compiler you have as among the biggies like Borland and Watcom just for
learning the basics.
Sincerely,
                                     Frank
