He started out with Limbaugh IDENTIFYING Cody Shearer as the jogger.  Now
he moves to Chris Matthews ORIGINATING it but Limbaugh BROADCASTING it. 
His next move will be another low in weasel-wording.  Matthews did
BROADCAST it and he even repeated it the next night when he was
interviewing Michael Isikoff on his show.  It got repeated in various print
sources, radio and TV shows, and websites after that.  Klawn picks one of
them, and places the blame there.  More predictable than Old Faithful.

When he claims that someone else "creats a lie out of the whole cloth" it
is a good sign that he has done exactly that.
