               MICROSOFT $2 BILLION TAKEOVER BLOCKED

  The US Justice Department has moved to block Microsoft's planned $2
billion takeover of INTUIT, maker of Quicken personal finance software
- the largest software acquisition ever. The Justice Department has
said that the move would lead to higher software prices and less
innovation. When asked to comment, Mr Gates said: "Fuck!"
