The Win95 disk has the MemMaker program in it which has helped a couple of 
friends of mine who encountered the problem.  I don't recall where the 
program is located, but if you type in "dir/s memmaker.exe" from the DOS 
prompt, it should be there.  I'm not sure if this is the same thing that the 
people I know had to deal with, but it's worth a shot...
