I've managed to eliminate just about everything that I used to have to do in 
Windows.  When my ThinkPad died, I had to go back to doing everything on the 
old Dell Inspiron 8000, which is running under Slackware 13.0.  There is still 
a Windows XP installation on the drive, but it hasn't been booted in more than 
a month. ;-)
