  Well I have to books here but they say nothing about Watcom Mater of fact 
  they are pretty good..at least I think so
  1) Programming in 12 Easy lessons  C
  2) Absolute Beginners Guide to C
  I read the absolute first then went to the programming in 12 which I am 
  currently on..
  I picked these up in a book store..
  I hope that I was able to help out..
