I've seen quite a bit of video courses > teaching C, Visual Basic, etc. but none teaching C specificly for OS/2. > Does anyone know of one? The best information is contained in the "Developer's Toolkit". You can get it on the "Developer's connection cd-rom", which is published quarterly by IBM. (Each new issue contains the newest version of the toolkit.) It has a whole folder full of online books on OS/2 programming. First, I'd get used to single threaded text mode 32 bit programming, in C and C++. If you're using EMX (an excellent, FREE c++ compiler for OS/2), the file "libref.doc" contains everything you need to know. Then the toolkit will get you up to speed with PM programming. Multi-threading's pretty simple. Use the _beginthread function mentioned in libref.doc, and then the two types of semaphores you need (mutex semaphores and event semaphores) are both explained in the toolkit help files. I'm thinking of writing a book on OS/2 programming if I get the time, but who knows when that could be...
