Not remotely an appropriate reply, but I have just received a 3B+ and,
with RISC OS and Ubuntu Mate SD cards that routinely run on a 2B and
3B, all I get is a multi-hued 3:4 screen and the 5v low voltage dagger
(power is maxed up at 5.35v, 5A). I rather assumed that a 3B+ will use
the same OS versions as the 3B, and I have not read anything to
contradict that. Sorry to barge in on your thread :-)
