SBBS accepts incoming connections on port 23, as does any other BBS software
unless you tell it to do otherwise. FTN transfer over "telnet" should have (and
maybe is?) always been defaulted to a different port. I believe BBBS does this
on a high port (maybe even higher than the 24554 binkp port?).
Either way, I'm sure that was known when the FTN over telnet protocol was
created.
Does the Argus/Taurus/Radius family have a port setting for telnet transfer
connections? If so, that should be the one changed if you're running a BBS over
telnet, port 23.
Regards,
Nick
