Do you need a break?  I can spend night Friday and day on Saturday.  I could
spend Saturday night but I would leave round 0815 hours to go teach my
Sunday class.

Update: 

 

Through information Martin received from his occupational therapist Victor,
who makes weekly visits to him here at the house, the direction is changing
as to the medical facility and personnel who'll be working towards Martin
prosthesis care. Baylor Medical is now in the picture in lieu of Scott and
Sabolich Prosthetics that Dr. Pompeo referred.

 

The problem with Scott and Sabolich is that they are not in contract with
United Healthcare who for the moment is Martins insurance provider. But
Baylor Hospital is. 

 

Baylor will pick up 100% of the cost less Martins deductible which has
already been met according to the Baylor staff who contacted Martin. After
last week's meeting with Scott and Sabolich and being unsure if United
Healthcare was going to be able to help, this news has been very uplifting
for Martin. 

 

Victor (who is a God send), use to be in a managing position at Baylor's
Prosthesis care. He is in great working relationship with the heads of that
department and strongly recommended shifting to Baylor. Martin made contact
with Dr. Pompeo and his staff and they got his information to Baylor and
they have everything to get it going. Yesterday Victor called Baylor after
his visit with Martin and within 20 minutes after he left, Baylor called and
set up an appointment to meet with them next Wednesday February 15th, at
2:00 pm. I will give an update after Wednesday appointment next week.

 

God is making the way for all this to happen. We as a family need to
continue praying this through. Please let us make sure we do our part in
which he has called each of us.
