Those are the names of various BBS programs. Remote Access is one.
The name normally will flash by during the initial log on sequence
right after you make connection with the board.
DN> I think so too.. doorway doesn't work..

If the quote box to which you refer is a function of the BBS, and not
the Telemate back or view window, the problem seems quite clearly
with the board, not with Telemate. Another way to check is to call
up another board in your area and try quoting from their quote box.
Most of the bbs programs I'm familiar with let you quote by
displaying the message, then asking you for the line numbers you wish
to quote. So using the arrow keys to quote is a bit out of my
 experience.

I get your point. Really infuriating, I bet.
You can use telemate to quote by going to the back window, using the
mouse or SHIFT+Position keys (arrows or page up/down) to mark text,
then hitting ALT+C to copy it to TM's clipboard, ESC to leave the
back window, then ALT+P or ALT+Q to paste it to the board's editor.
ALT+P pastes it directly. ALT+Q pastes it quoted (with a > to show
 the quote, I think.
Hey, if you ever get to the bottom of this, let me what was going on!
 Good luck!
