Hej Lodewijk og alt det d‚r ...

Ha ! In Denmark we currently pay about $250 for an ISDN installation, but
the monthly fee is still the same (as two pstn lines), and the charges pr
minute are also (almost) the same - about 1 cent less to place an ISDN call.

I got no equipment for the tel comp whatsoever. First, I bought a German
dual t/a adapter (in january) (about $300), and last week I bought a Zyxel
OMNI ISDN priced about $250.

True, if you are not surfing with too much idle time ...
Also, I don't run full speed against my IP. I use OS/2, and get this
performance:
Fido mail: Terminate (DOS under OS/2) 7500 CPS
BBS' Online: Zap O'Comm (OS/2 native) 7500 CPS
PPP/IP (TCP): DOIP (SLIPPM.EXE) 3600 CPS
Why ? I guess it is the slippm.exe that has some kind of limitation. I use
SIO drivers, and I lock the com port 3 at 115200 (it has a 16550 UART) with
su 3 lock 115200.
Are there specific OS/2 drivers for the Zyxel OMNI ? The disk that came with
has only 2864 drivers - and for DOS 8.0 deldeldeldeldeldeldel Win 95.
