Correct.  We were talking about a - proposed - Federal law that would
REQUIRE states to honor each others CCW's, just as they do each other's
drivers licenses.  Hasn't passed, yet, and if it did, I'm sure that
idiot in the White House would veto it. :(
(Yet another reason to hold your nose and vote for Dole.)
If it DID pass, it would create an interesting situation here in NY.
My CCW, like all other upstate CCW's, is SPECIFICALLY marked "Not Valid
In New York City".  So I STILL couldn't carry there.  But everyone ELSE
in the country could!
