I have given up on that. No matter how often I have "corrected" people with the
false conviction that the earth is flat or that Einstein was wrong when he
claimed one can not go faster than light, they keep clinging maintaining their
false beliefs.

We even have some in Fidonet that still deny global warming in the face of
overwhelming evidence. I don't bother to respond.
