I heard from the Tattoo Office in Edinburgh yesterday, and they advised me 
that
the Tattoo was scheduled for August 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th.  I also heard 
from
an agency supplying entertainment tickets for various events through our
Carolina Motor Club that there were two performances scheduled nightly, and
that both performances for the 9th were sold out.
Obviously, one of us has been misinformed, and I am hoping that it was me,
because the later dates would be a little more convenient for us.
In answer to your specific question, we are seriously considering going at
whatever is the correct time, and have commenced planning for it.  Any advice
or suggestions you might have would be most welcome.
